Passed away on December 25, 2024 at the age of 94. She is predeceased by her husband, James A. Orbanek; parents, Joseph and Stella Kaiser; brothers, Victor (Grace) Kaiser, Joseph (Carol) Kaiser; sisters, Dorothy (Harry) Adams, Florence (Richard) Rosbaugh, Eugenia (William) Srmack.

Teresa is survived by her children, James (Kathyrn) Orbanek, William Orbanek; grandchildren, Jonathan (Elizabeth O'Connor) Orbanek, Caitlin (Gavin Guarrera) Orbanek and Elizabeth Orbanek; great-grandchildren, Addison Guarrera, James Orbanek and Celeste O'Connor; many nieces and nephews as well.

Born August 19, 1930 in Ovid, NY, Teresa grew up on a farm owned by Joseph and Stella Kaiser. She had many memories as a child growing up on the farm with her brothers and sisters. She moved to Rochester to work at Kodak. She met her husband, James A. Orbanek, whom she married after his service in the Korean War. They lived in the city in an apartment and eventually bought their first home in Irondequoit. They then moved to Webster and raised their family. Teresa worked for the Webster School District for many years until her husband James was relocated to South Bend, Indiana. Teresa worked at Notre Dame University. They then moved back to Christiana, Delaware for a few years until moving back to Webster to be with family. After the loss of her husband James, she lived alone until needing assisted living for her care.

Teresa always had a good spirit and a happy smile. She was a devoted wife, caring mother, loving grandmother and great-grandmother and a special aunt to her nephews and nieces, and a good friend to many over the years. 

She will be forever missed by all. A special thanks to Baywinde Assisted Living, Internal Medicine of Brighton, Penfield Volunteer Ambulance and St. John's Home. Services will be private.
