<p>MANNING – Marion Elliott Frierson, 63, died Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at his home.</p><p><br></p><p>Born March 5, 1961, in Columbia, he was a son of the late Flander “Bogan” Frierson and the late Lee Haley Frierson. He was a retired welder. Marion was an avid hunter and fisherman. He attended Cornerstone Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth Wallace (James) of Sumter, Alicia Osborne of Lake City and Amanda White (Daniel) of Manning; six grandchildren; a great grandchild; a sister, Janice Carter of Manning; and several nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings, James Frierson, Maxine Ridgeway, JoAnne Hoppers and Jerry Frierson.</p><p><br></p><p>A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2024, in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home with the Rev. John Matthews officiating.</p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from noon to 1 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home.</p><p><br></p><p>Memorials may be made to Cornerstone Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church, 2116 Greeleyville Highway, Manning, SC 29102.</p><p><br></p><p>Stephens Funeral Home &amp; Crematory, 304 N. MANNING – Marion Elliott Frierson, 63, died Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at his home.


Born March 5, 1961, in Columbia, he was a son of the late Flander “Bogan” Frierson and the late Lee Haley Frierson. He was a retired welder. Marion was an avid hunter and fisherman. He attended Cornerstone Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church.
