Rev. Elouise L. Brown entered into eternal life on December 13, 2024. Born February 24, 1947, in New Orleans, LA to Monroe LeBeau and Rosemary Simms, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and woman of deep faith.

Elouise accepted Christ early in life, becoming an ordained minister in 1977, serving as a source of spiritual guidance and inspiration to countless lives. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School, earned her bachelor's degree from Southern University of New Orleans, and her master's degree from Martin University. A dedicated educator, she served with the New Orleans School Board and later retired from the Metropolitan School District of Warren Township.

Her greatest joy was her family. She was preceded in death by her parents Monroe LeBeau and Rosemary Simms. She leaves to cherish her memory her children Chandra Brown, Phaedra Brown-Lagarde (Lézyon), Robert Brown, Jr.; grandchildren Darius Mimms, Jr. (Anissa), Kailyn Brown, Christopher Brown (Ileana), Rory Brown and great- grandchild Zyn Brown. She is also survived by her siblings Lawrence Hampton, Linda Ray, Wanda Jarrow (Steve), Rosemary Evans and Walter Davis Jr.; two God children Thomas L Brown, Jr. and Sierra Green; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Rev. Elouise L. Brown will be remembered for her deep faith, her kind and giving spirit, and the legacy of love she leaves behind.

Family and friends are invited to A Celebration of Life on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 10:00 am at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, 2415 S. Claiborne Ave, New Orleans, LA. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery, 5190 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA.
