Ronnie DeWayne Stevens, 72, of Westfield, IN, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2024. He was born April 21, 1952, in Hamilton County to Elmore “Woody” and Margie Louise (Bailey) Stevens.
During his earlier years, Ronnie attended school in the Sheridan School System.
Ronnie was an avid fan and supporter of Purdue basketball. On game days, Ronnie was always dressed in his Purdue sportswear, glued to the TV, ready to watch the game. In previous years, Ronnie enjoyed helping with the Special Olympics. He also loved deer hunting. He looked forward to camping out or spending the day sitting in his tree stand with bow in hand, hoping to take home a buck.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his sister, Vickey Stevens Lyon; paternal grandparents, Charles and Geraldine Stevens; and maternal grandparents, Van Clayton and Louise Alline Bailey.
Survivors include his brother, Larry (Barbara) Stevens of Yorktown; sisters, Brenda Stevens West of Sheridan, and Tammy Stevens Rodgers of Noblesville; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be private services only.
