Andrew Gavin McCannless Warwick, 37, passed away on December 13th, 2024. He was a 2006 graduate of Williamstown High School in Williamstown, WV and was previously employed by Marietta Adventure Company and Giant Eagle. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved bicycling, mountain biking, and could often be spotted on his stand up paddle board along rivers and lakes around the region.

Left with broken hearts and precious memories are his parents Barb and Tom Warwick; his sister Ramsey (C.R.) Neale; aunts and uncles Karen Newton, Tom (Laura) Blair, Helen (Teddy) Berry, Joyce (Jerry) Warwick, David H. (Sandy) Warwick; numerous cousins; countless friends; and two loving Weimaraner dogs Gus and Gabby. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Richard and Rosalind Blair, paternal grandparents David and Doris Warwick, his aunt Ruth Warwick, and uncle Steve Newton.

Gavin was hard-working, kind, amazingly outgoing, and never met a stranger. Numerous families considered Gavin as the brother or son that they never had, and he thought of them as additional brothers, sisters, mothers, and fathers.

Gavin’s remains are to be cremated, and no services are planned at this time. A memorial gathering in his honor is being planned in 2025 during more hospitable outdoor weather. Gavin will be forever loved and never forgotten by each individual that spent cherished time with him. Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
