Curtis E. Stewart, Jr., 69, of Marion, passed away in his Marion home on December 13, 2024. He was born in Marion to the late Curtis E. and Imogene (Smith) Stewart on August 8, 1955.
Curtis was a United States Army veteran and worked at VA Northern Indiana Healthcare Systems, Marion. Curtis was an avid fisherman and enjoyed sports especially basketball and football. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Genell S. (Humphrey) Stewart; five children, Curtis E. (Akisha) Stewart, III, Houston, Texas; Trisha Jackson, Decatur, Illinois; Lindsey Stewart, Indianapolis; Curtis M. (Arielle Johnson) Stewart, Marion; Cody (Rachel) Stewart, Gas City; step-son, Damon Humphrey, Marion; three siblings, Edwin Stewart, Marion; Debbie (Donnie) Edwards, Georgia; Trease (Jerone) Davis, Indianapolis; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

The graveside service with military honors will take place at Marion National Cemetery, Marion at a later date. Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Marion Chapel, 2722 South Washington Street, Marion was entrusted with the arrangements.
