Robert "Bob" David Board, age 85, of Laurel passed away on December 13, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Bob was a member of the First Baptist Church in Seaford. he is survived by children, Bill Erwin and his wife Evelyn, Angela Oliver and her husband Ernie; grandchildren Billy Erwin (Lauren), Bobby Erwin (Sarah), Brittany Oliver (John) and Morgan Oliver (Jason); great grandchildren, Sultan Life, Billy Erwin, Bobby Erwin, Beau Erwin, Colton, Reed, Laurel, Oliver, and Kensington. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Rosemary Board, his granddaughter Michelle Andres and his step-father, Chester Board.  A visitation will be held from 12:00pm-1pm at the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home, 700 West Street, Laurel, Delaware. A funeral service will be begin at 1pm on December 23, 2024. Pastor Barry Secrest will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
