Lester A. Doll, age 79 of Saylorsburg, PA passed away Friday, December 13, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Pocono in East Stroudsburg, PA.

Lester was born at the Pocono Hospital in East Stroudsburg, PA on April 5, 1945, son of the late Lloyd and Erma (Reinheimer) Doll.

He had served for many years in the National Guard.

Lester worked as an Engineer for Fabricated Components in Stroudsburg, PA until retiring.

Lester loved to take to the open road on his BMW K1200 Trike and also a member of the Pocono Motorsports Club.

Throughout his life he loved to build model airplanes and enjoyed going to the West End Wings Air Shows in Effort, PA.

We have been blessed with the presence of Lester in our lives. He will be deeply missed by his children: Amanda Safin and husband Bronson of Saylorsburg, PA, Melissa Doll of Albrightsville, PA, Lester "Buddy" Doll Jr. and wife Laura of Easton, MD and Dennis Doll and wife Terri of Easton, MD.

He was the loving grandfather to Cowen, Chloe and Chayse who lovingly called him Pop Pop.

Lester is survived by a brother: Darrell Doll and wife Sylvia of Charles Town, WV.

Funeral services will be held 3:30 PM Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Gower Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 1426 Route 209, Gilbert, PA.  

Family and friends are welcome to offer condolences on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 2 pm until time of service at the funeral home.
