Jerry J. December 13, 2024. Beloved husband of Regina Marie (nee McColgan) Esposito. Devoted father of Angela (Carter). He was preceded in death by his two loving sons, Jerry J. Jr. and Joseph David. He was Pop-Pop to Elise Marie Esposito, David Cornelius Eyler, Thomas Davis Carter, and Christian MacColgan Carter. He was Great Grandfather to Brantley Eyler. Brother of Joseph, who preceded him in death, and Thomas. Jerry served in the US Army from 13 September 1962 until 12 September 1963 where he completed his duty in Fort Lee, Virginia. He was a long-time employee with the Philadelphia Inquirer and also worked at the Hotel atop the Bellevue in Philadelphia. He spent his final years among his brothers and sisters in arms at the Veterans' Haven South where he established lasting friendships and familial bonds. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews. A private celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Veteran's Haven home for Veterans. Donations should be made out to: The State of New Jersey c/o Veterans Haven South
