Jessica Paled from Detroit, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on December 13th, 2024, aged 42 years young. She was a wonderful soul, a free spirit and is best remembered as being “adorable” as well as loving to her family and extensive group of friends. She leaves behind her mother: Michele Paled; an aunt: Ann (Larry) Richey; an uncle: Ken (Marilyn) Paled; cousins: Andrew, Lauren, and Maureen Richey; special friends: Kathy Vargo, Natalie, Mike, and the “Small’s family,” as well as her cats: Nacho & Cheeto.

Jessica was a band promoter, booking agent for Small’s and other venues, a lover of industrial music, event organizer, and skilled bartender. From childhood forward she spent many happy hours reading books. Behind her beautiful appearance (never without bright lipstick and cascading dark locks) was a practical joker who could occasionally be bossy, a fashion lover who enjoyed kayaking (drowning several cellphones), and a girl who loved Christmas and Halloween. Her gourmet preferences leaned towards Polish food from the Polish Village Café, the Leggs Inn, and other cuisine inspired by her grandparents: Veronica and Stanley Paled.

A memorial event will be scheduled at a date in the Spring of 2025, check her Facebook page for details. Cremation has taken place through Covenant Cremation of Erie, Michigan, a division of Merkle Enterprises, Inc. Her care has been entrusted to Merkle Funeral Service, North Monroe; 2442 North Monroe Street, Monroe, Michigan 48162 (734) 384-5185.
