On Friday, December 13, 2024, Margarita DelPrado went to be with the Lord. Margarita lived a long life of 86 years and got to be not only a mother but a grandma and great-grandma. She is survived by her children: Ezekiel (Jackie) DelPrado, Yolanda Orozco, Efrain DelPrado, George (Nancy) DelPrado, Raymond (Tracy) DelPrado, Arthur (Deanna) Fowler Jr., and Eddie (Alicia) Fowler; grandchildren:  Paul, Efrain, Bruce, Jack, Brandon, Amber, Brianna, Felicia, Nathan, Noah, Nick, Kobe, AJ, Kade, Mariah, Elysia, and Samuel; great-grandchildren: Adrian, David, Tyson, Maddox, Noemi, Penelope, Dezirae, Christopher Jr., Mia, Melina, Gia, and Avery.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024, at Hillside located at 8941 Kleinman Rd Highland, IN 46322 with Pastor John Allen officiating. Family and friends are invited to visit at Hillside from 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM. Memorial service at 5:30 PM. Pastor John Hoffmaster officiating.

Margarita was born on April 11, 1938 in Palau, Mexico. She raised her family in Gary, Indiana and couldn’t be more proud. She filled hearts with love, heads with wisdom and stomachs with the best food you could ever taste. The lives she’s touched will forever be impacted and her loved ones will miss her deeply.
