Richard Vernon Boyer Obituary
Richard V. (Rick) Boyer, 77 of Festus, MO, died December 13, 2024 in St. Louis.
Rick was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and a retired chemical engineer. He was born in Boston, MA July 9, 1947.
He enjoyed fishing, flying, bee keeping, and wood turning. He was the son of the late Dorothy J. (MacNeill) Boyer and Jesse Boyer.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sharon (Held) Boyer; sons Jeremiah (Sara) Boyer, Josiah (Amber) Boyer, and James Hadley Boyer; grandson Calvin; granddaughter Casey; step granddaughters Brea, Alaina, Auber and Leah; and numerous family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sisters Beverly (Boyer) Pinnon and Shirley Boyer.
A memorial is schedule at 2 PM Sunday December 22, 2024 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses; 601 Collins Ave. Festus, MO, with a simple meal to follow.
