Patrick "Pat" J. Powers, affectionately known as Pat, passed away at the age of 73 on December 13, 2024, at Tidal Health Peninsula Regional. Born on March 10, 1951, in Lancaster, Ohio, to the late Patrick James and Helen O'Leary Powers, Pat was a loving husband, father, PaPa, brother, and friend to many.

For over three decades, Pat was the cornerstone of the IT department at ED Supply in Salisbury. As an IT Manager, his diligence, expertise, and approachability were instrumental in the growth and success of the company. Pat was just as dedicated to his professional life as he was to his personal relationships and made a positive impact on all who had the pleasure of working alongside him.

A faithful servant of the Lord, Pat was deeply involved in his church community at Oak Ridge Church. His commitment to his faith was evident in his participation and leadership within various church activities. Pat's passion for his church extended to a national level through his active engagement in Celebrate Recovery, where he provided support and hope to those working towards personal healing and growth. Additionally, in his free time he also enjoyed playing golf, especially at Nutters Crossing.

Pat is survived by his wife of 44 wonderful years, Pamela "Pam" Sue Powers, daughters, Jenna Ramirez (Rick) and Elise Barkley (Ivan), as well as the joys of his life, his grandchildren: Logan Ramirez, Aubrey Barkley, Ava Ramirez, Clara Barkley, and Bronson Ramirez. He is also survived by his sister, Michelle Foreman, numerous nieces and nephews, and his many brothers and sisters in Christ.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
