Lyndel Huffman, age 81 of McCutchenville, Ohio died at 3:18 P.M., Friday, December 13, 2024 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay, Ohio. She was born on August 20, 1943 in Tiffin, Ohio to James and Martha  (Baugher) Shaffer. They are deceased. She married Edward Huffman on December 11, 1965 and he survives in McCutchenville. 

Surviving is a daughter, Lisa (Steve Shiley) Ley, Kansas, Ohio and a granddaughter, Savanah Kaelyn Ley. 

Lyndel loved to make all kinds of crafts and take them to craft shows all over the area to sell.

She was a 1961 graduate of Mohawk High School and attended Heidelberg College and Northwestern Technical College in Lima for nursing. She sold Avon products and Sarah Coventry Jewelry at one time. She was a former member of the former Seneca County Saddle Club. She was an avid reader, loved to watch movies, put crossword puzzles together, and loved to bowl, an activity she did for over 50 years in Tiffin and Sycamore. She went to a lot of garage sales looking for bargains and when she found a good bargain she would share with her family and friends. She also loved animals, especially her companion dogs.              

A service for Lyndel will be held at a later date with burial to take place at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore, Ohio.
