Koren Calf Child Obituary
December 9th 1968 – December 13th 2024
It is with great sadness that the family of Koren Melody Calf Child announces her sudden passing on December 13th, 2024 at Siksika Nation Alberta. Koren will be missed by her children Daniel Spring Chief, Joseph (Zack) Spring Chief, Kyle Spring Chief, grandchildren Lillyanna Spring Chief, Kayla Spring Chief, Matthew Spring Chief, Elayna Calf Robe, and Jayce Spring Chief. Koren is survived by her siblings Kevin Calf Child and Clifford Calf Child.
Koren had a very enjoyable energy that was contagious and could fill a room with laughter, with her constant mispronunciation of words and overall silly personality. Koren was fond of camping, BBQ food, fishing, berry picking with her mom, watching movies, and sports such as basket ball and cross country in her younger days.
Koren's lighthearted spirit and love for life's simple pleasures left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Whether it was sharing a laugh over a funny mistake or reminiscing about her favorite activities, she truly made the world a brighter, more joyful place.
Both wake and funeral will be held on the same day at Holy Trinity Church on December 20th, 2024. Starting at 10am for wake and 1pm for funeral services.
