Walter Nathan Pierce, age 84, of Logan, NM, passed away on December 13, 2024.


Walter was born on August 30, 1940, to Jesse Pierce and Zilla (Allsup) Pierce in Odessa, TX. He served in the United States Air Force from 1958 to 1981, retiring as a Master Sergeant at Cannon Air Force Base. Walter was a lifetime member of the VFW.


Cremation has taken place and a service will be scheduled in late Spring.


Survivors include his son; Walter (Mars) Pierce Jr., grandchildren; Jesse (Tayelor) Pierce, Layla Pierce, and Caleb Pierce, five great grandchildren, nephew; Leo (Nikki) Lovett, niece; Katie Phelan, ex-wife; Norma and her husband, Ron, numerous family and friends, and his beloved sister; Linda Lovett who was his caregiver the last few years of his life.


He is preceded in death by his parents; Jesse Pierce and Zilla (Allsup) Pierce.
