<p>Margaret Sue Childress, 76, of Farmland, IN, joined our Lord and Savior in Glory on December 15, 2024, peacefully while in the company of family members at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN. Margaret was born on March 12, 1948, a daughter&nbsp;of the late Myrtle Ruth (Jackson) and Morris Andrew Childress, Sr. She attended West High School in Plymouth, IN, and was formerly employed by Kaberts as a sewing machine operator. Margaret was a member of the Farmland Church of God and enjoyed home sewing projects, Gospel Music, mowing, helping her family with errands, and kept a faithful&nbsp;diary of events and special&nbsp;days. Margaret is remembered as a quiet, somewhat shy, yet unexpectedly funny, God-fearing woman, with a giving heart, an excellent memory, and took great care and interest in those around&nbsp;her while giving them space to grow. She is survived by 3 siblings; Patsy Howell (Bob), Phil Childress, Sr. (Jama), Mary Olson, sister-in-law; Rita Childress and several nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, sister Gloria Tiller, brother Junior Childress, and brother-in-law Dale Olson. Friends are invited to call Friday, December 20, 2024, from 5-7 PM at MJS Mortuaries - Farmland Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 10 AM at MJS Mortuaries - Farmland Chapel with Brother Phil Childress, Sr. officiating. Burial will be held in Poplar Run Cemetery in Farmland, IN. Arrangements have been entrusted to MJS Mortuaries - Farmland Chapel. </p>
