Carole A. Ulery

Carole A. Ulery, 84 of Acme died on Sunday December 15, 2024 in Independence Health Westmoreland Hospital. She was born on February 8, 1940 in Pittsburgh a daughter of the late George Whiting and the late Dorothy Hindes. Carole was employed at Westinghouse early in her life and later worked at the Mt Zion Christian Academy. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Community Church and participated in the Card Ministry and Lunch Service. Carole loved spending time with her family, cooking and having family meals. She is survived by two daughters, Carla Brown of Mount Pleasant and Sharon Hostetler and her husband Tim of Acme; her grandchildren, Tawnya Pirl and husband Glenn, Colleen Barnhart and husband Greg, Amanda Turcheck and husband Joe, Tiffany Kinneer and husband Travis, Lindsey Turcheck and husband Nolan and Timothy Hostetler and wife Katlyn , all of Acme; her great grandchildren, Miah, Jackson, Blake, Natalie, Bentley, Caleb, Ellie, Ava, Alaina, Carter and Cooper. Carole was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ivan L. Ulery on August 25, 2021; great grandchild, Mackenzie and a sister, Marsha Bradford. Family and friends will be received in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 406 E. Washington St., Mount Pleasant, PA on Wednesday from 2-5,6-8 P.M. and on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M., the hour of services with Rev. Paul Haasz officiating.
