Dorothy “Dot or Dottie” S. Guidry passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024, in Covington, LA, at the age of 92. She was born on January 12, 1932, in New Orleans, LA, where she grew up in the 9th Ward. Dorothy was a long-time resident of St Bernard Parish and, for the last three years, of Robert, LA.

Dot enjoyed going to Disney World and the casinos and enjoyed sewing in her spare time.

Beloved wife of the late Wilfred Anthony Guidry, Sr. for over 50 Years.

Loving Mother of Wilfred Guidry, Jr., the late, Katherine Anne Guidry O’Conner, and Kenneth Anthony Guidry, and Daughter-in-Law Linda Christine Patten Guidry.

Devoted Daughter of the late Geroge J. Springer, Sr., and Thema H. Springer.

Granddaughter of the late Alice and Edward Henry.

Sister to the late Geroge Springer, Jr. and Audrey Springer.

Proud Grandmother of Timothy David O’Conner, II, Kade Wilfred Guidry, Lauren Nicole Lanning Haskins, and Cory Rock Lanning.

She will fondly be remembered as Dottie or Grama Dot. Dorothy will be deeply missed and remembered by her sons, grandkids, and Friends.
