Ruth T. Nitkin, 98, of Cheshire, passed peacefully with her family by her side at home on November 18, 2024. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 70 years, Joseph Nitkin. Born in New Haven, June 30, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Jesse Clark. Beloved mother of Howard Nitkin (Joyce) of Cheshire, Ronda Martin of East Haven, and Lori Silkoff (Richard) of Cheshire. Dear sister of the late George Clark. Cherished Mima/Ma to Jaymie Clark (Scott), Bailey Orell (Jonathan), Erica Pinkus (Jason), Zachary Martin (Pam), Mara James (Chris), and Jesse Silkoff (Nicole). Treasured great-grandmother of Emma Nitkin-Ressler, Sydney and Molly Pinkus, Peyton Clark, Oliver and Jolie Orell, Julian and Cameron James, and Ella and Rafa Silkoff.

Funeral Services were held privately, The Robert E. Shure & Son Funeral Home, New Haven is in care of Arrangements.
