Carmine Nazzaro passed away peacefully on Friday, December 13, 2024 at his daughters’ home in Wayne, PA. He was 90. Carmine was a former resident of Bridgeport, PA. He was an employee of Aristocrat Upholstery for 40+ years and on the side he also did construction work with his brother-in-law, Sam. Carmine was a former member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA. He enjoyed his family, children, garden, and many holidays and meals with his family. He had a passion for making wine and canned sauce. Card games and bocce ball were his favorite pastimes unless one of his in-laws was cheating, always the same culprit. Carmine lived a fulfilled life married to his wife Mafalda for 64 years.
Born on a farm in Atripalda, Italy on October 30, 1934, he was a son of the late Salvatore and Maria (nee Guanci) Nazzaro. Carmine was one of five children, making him the dear brother of Pipinella, Armando, Anthony, and Pasqualle. He was also the beloved husband of Mafalda Boccella Nazzaro, who passed away in 2020.
Surviving is his loving family including a son, Salvatore (Kim) Nazzaro, Sr.; two daughters, Anna Marie (Ciro) Corrado and Michelle Mastrocola; nine grandchildren: Carmen and Maurizo Corrado, Salvatore (Brittany), Jr., Kyle and Tyler Nazzaro, Michael Imperial, Todd, Jr., Chelsea, Malina and Miranda Mastrocola; and 6 great-grandchildren: Dominic, Luca and Leo Nazzaro, Dylan and Aston Imperial, and Francesca Mastrocola; sister-in-laws, Fortuna DiBussolo and Yolanda (Frank) Badalamenti; brother-in-law, Anthony Boccella; son-in-law, Todd Mastrocola, Sr.. He was beloved by many friends, extended family, members of the Catholic Community, and lots of nieces & nephews.
Carmine is preceded in death by sister-in-laws, Maria Iuliano and Carmella Boccella; and brother-in-laws, Samuel and Joseph Boccella.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Carmine’s viewing at Sacred Heart Church, 120 Jefferson St. Bridgeport, PA on Friday, December 20, 2024 from 9am to 10:15am; with his Funeral Mass beginning at 10:30am. Entombment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery Mausoleum, E. Norriton, PA. His Funeral Mass will be live-streamed beginning at 10:30am.
