Ruth Ann Willett, 75, of West Frankfort, passed away at 5:02 p.m., Friday, December 13, 2024, at Herrin Hospital.
Ruth was born on February 15, 1949, to Douglas T. and Olyne E. (Wilson) Willett. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.
Ruth is survived by her three children, Scott (Elena) Hilmes, Lisa Hilmes, and Melissa Morris; grandsons and caretakers, Dustin Hilmes, Cory Bird, Cody Bird, and Tyler Bird; several more grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, James D. “Sonny” Willett; one sister, Peggy S. LeDuc; grandson, Dominick Bird.
A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
