Robert Thomas Jarrard “Bob”, 82, of Missouri City, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2024, after a long illness. He was born on September 29, 1942, in Houston, Texas, to the late, Christine and Chester Jarrard.

Bob was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend to many. He is survived by his wife and soul mate of 60 years, Suzanne; his children, son, Bryan and wife, Claudia and granddaughter, Sofia; son, Bret and wife, Elizabeth; sister-in-law, Paula Warren and brother-in-law, Clay Warren. He is also survived by his nieces, Wende Lyle, Dusty Paez and Misty Warren and numerous great nieces and a great nephew.

Bob was a graduate of Bellaire High School and earned his degrees from the University of Houston and South Texas College of law. He practiced law for over 40 years and was an adjunct professor of Business Law in the MBA program at Houston Baptist University for over 20 years.

His lifelong enthusiasm for hunting, fishing, golf and the outdoors was passed on to his two sons. They spent many quality hours together pursuing their love of the outdoors. He enjoyed the thrill of a trophy hunt and an early morning run on San Antonio Bay chasing trout and redfish. Bob managed and coached several of his sons’ Little League baseball teams in his hometown of Missouri City, Texas and ran the Summer Junior Golf Program at Quail Vally Country Club during the early ‘80’s. He loved the comradery and competition of golf with friends and was never afraid to get in a wager or two. Later in life, the family bought a small ranch in Goliad, Texas where he found true peace with family and friends watching the sun setting as it rolled over the South Texas horizon.

A Celebration of Life honoring Bob will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the home of Bryan Jarrard, 715 Cinnamon Oak Ln, Houston,TX.
