James "Jimmy" Kasperzak, 83, of Enfield, Connecticut, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, December 13, 2024. Born in Monson, Massachusetts, Jimmy was the beloved son of the late Walter and Nellie (Kotfila) Kasperzak.

Raised in Enfield, Jimmy lived a full life that took him to Monson and Ware, Massachusetts, as well as several cherished years in Florida. A man of unwavering dedication, Jimmy proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict, embodying a spirit of honor and duty that marked his life.


Jimmy enjoyed a long and successful career with Stop and Shop Food Stores, dedicating over 40 years to the company and retiring as a Store Supervisor. His commitment to excellence in his career left a lasting impression on colleagues and customers alike.


An avid outdoorsman, Jimmy found joy and serenity in nature. He loved bird hunting and spent countless hours boating and fishing, particularly on the beautiful waters of Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island, where he found solace and adventure. Jimmy was a former communicant of St. Adalbert Church of St. Jeanne Jugan Parish, where he demonstrated his faith in God and community.


He is survived by his brother, Gabriel Kasperzak, and Gabriel’s wife, Dolores, of Somers, Connecticut. Jimmy also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who will forever treasure the memories spent with him. Jimmy was predeceased by his siblings, Walter, Joseph Sr., and Raymond Kasperzak, as well as his sisters, Franny Bower and Mary Kuda. In keeping with Jimmy's private nature, funeral services and burial will be private.
