Aleta Ruth Mundy-Middleton, 70, of Kansas City, KS., passed away peacefully on December 13th, 2024 with her husband by her side.
Aleta was born in Hempstead, NJ. on December 24, 1953 to Henry and Ruth Mundy.
She was known for her unwavering dedication to family, her compassionate spirit, and her love for Jehovah God.
Aleta was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Levi Middleton; two step-sons, Anthony Middleton and Matthew Middleton, as well as seven cherished grandchildren.
She is also survived by her loving sister, Pamela Ann Mundy, and her nieces, Chinwe (Kester) Osduji and Ijeoma (Chima) Chijoke, and nephew Uzodimma Eke.
Aleta was deeply proud of her family and always made time to nurture and support them. Aleta's affection for her family was evident to all, and she played a significant role in their lives, offering them wisdom and guidance.
Aleta's legacy is one of kindness, strength, and devotion. She had a heart full of love and a spirit that uplifted those around her. A friend to many and a mother figure to those who needed one, Aleta will be remembered for her caring nature and her willingness to give of herself to others.
Even under the most stressful of circumstances, Aleta always remained cheerful, had a warm smile, was quick with a laugh and maintained her wonderful sense of humor, which she attributed to her mother’s influence.
Having also dedicated herself on December 18, 2010 as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, she was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her congregation.
A funeral service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 15295 Chestnut, Basehor, KS. 66007 on Friday, December 20, 2024. Service will open at 10:00 with a memorial talk at 11:00. Afterwards, a graveside service will be conducted at the Highland Park Cemetery 4801 State Avenue, Kansas City, KS. 66102.
She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. She will rest until we see her again in the resurrection. (Acts 24:15)
