Carl E. McArthur passed away December 13, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was 65 years old. Born in Jacksonville, Florida, he was the son of the late David McArthur Sr. and Louise Shaeffer. He studied at Norwich Free Academy, Norwich Tech, and worked at General Dynamics Electric Boat. Carl loved music, especially heavy metal rock and was wonderful singer. He loved baseball, was a Red Sox fan and the Green Bay Packers was his favorite football team. His last hobby was doing wood manufacturing. Carl leaves behind his devoted wife Mirtes McArthur of Warwick, his brothers; David McArthur Jr., Scott McArthur and his wife Gail McArthur, stepfather Robert Smith Sr, half-brothers Robert Smith Jr and Christopher Smith, half-sister Tracy Ryan and step-sister Crystal Mcfarlane and step brother Larry Crouse, step kids Camylla Souza and Luiz Guilherme Silva. As Carl requested, his services will be held privately.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Carl’s name can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
