With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine J. Rucker (nee Smith), at the age of 68. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Rucker; her children, Jason (Amy) Smith, Christopher (Nichole) Rucker, and Megan (Zakkary) Packard; her stepdaughter, Kelly Rucker; her grandchildren, Corigan, Vivian, Lillian, Caius, and Berrick; her brother, Michael Smith; and her dogs, Apollo and Bella. Full of love, laughter, and resilience, she touched the lives of all who knew her. A lover of music, horses, and flowers, Catherine found beauty in life’s simple moments and encouraged us all to do the same. We invite all who cherished Catherine to join us in a celebration of life at Urban-AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, 3645 Genesee Street, on Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 4 - 7 PM, with a service to follow.
