Brett Jonathon Rogowski, 51, of Chalfont, PA, passed away on December 13th, 2024. Born on April 18th, 1973, in Southampton, NY, Brett lived a life marked by creativity, passion, and strong connections. He believed in a world bigger than ourselves, and cultivated endearing friendships throughout his travels and adventures. A devoted father and multifaceted artist, Brett approached life with an unquenchable spirit of exploration and curiosity. His diverse talents spanned multiple disciplines, including music, graphic design, athletics, and poetry. Brett's artistic journey began early, earning a scholarship to the Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Arts, where he studied music and jewelry making. A graduate of Derry Area High School, he developed his love for music as a talented trumpeter in the school's marching band from 1989 to 1991. He later graduated from Pennsylvania School of Art and Design in Lancaster, earning a degree in Graphic Design with minors in photography and painting. An enthusiastic athlete, Brett was an avid runner who participated in the Boston Marathon and numerous national and local races. His commitment to community was evident in his volunteer work at the Wilma Quinlan Nature Preserve Park in Doylestown, where he served as a dedicated custodian. Brett is survived by his beloved daughters, Riley (16) and Quinn (13), who were the light of his life. He is also survived by his mother, Melody Rogowski of Derry, PA, and his siblings: Richard Rogowski of Tucson, AZ, Alex Rogowski of Bradford, PA, and Angela Hixson of New Florence, PA. He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Paul Rogowski. A celebration of Brett's life will be held on Thursday, December 19th, 2024, from 11 AM to 2 PM at 1720 Nostalgia Events in Chalfont, PA. A Life Celebration Gathering will be held 10-1130AM Saturday December 21, 2021 in the Matthew X. Merlin Funeral Home, Inc., 529 N Chestnut St.. Derry, PA 15627, 724-694-8331. This will be a time of reflection and some of Brett’s family and friends will be sharing memories and stories from Brett’s life. Following this service everyone is invited to Gianllii's II from 12:15PM- 3PM, 4816 State Route 30 Greensburg, PA 15601to share stories of Brett’s remarkable journey and to have a service and remembrance.
