OAK GROVE, LA - Memorial funeral services for Johnese Philley, age 64 of Oak Grove, Louisiana will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Oak Grove, Louisiana.

Reverend Shane Cupples will officiate.

Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 PM on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Oak Grove.

Johnese passed into eternal life on Friday, December 13, 2024 at her residence in Oak Grove.

She is preceded in death by her father, John Samuel Philley, Sr.; mother, Nippy (McDaniel) Philley; grandfather, Cap McDaniel; and grandmother, Evelyn (Cheek) McDaniel.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Jason Reeves of Oak Grove, Louisiana; daughter and son-im-law, Carrie and Kevin Key of Oak Grove; 6 grandchildren: Austin Key, Kelsey Reeves, Addison Reeves; Cadie Key, Bryson Reeves, and Carson Key all of Oak Grove; great grandchild, Estella Begale of Oak Grove; sister and brother-in-law, C. C. and Tony Robian of Farmerville, Louisiana; sister and brother-in-law, Cherry and Steve Rye of Pioneer, Louisiana; brother and sister-in-law, Sam and Sherry Philley of Oak Grove; sister, Mary Philley of Oak Grove; and numerous nieces and nephews.
