Mrs. Diane Davis-Roberts was born on March 24, 1953 in Miami, Florida to Thomas Davis and Larrene Warren (both deceased). “Diana,” as she was affectionately known, attended Killian High School and Miami-Dade Community College. She later met and married her adorable husband James “Walter” Roberts Sr. Together they raised six beautiful children: Thomas, Tammica, Melanie, Angela, Elisa (deceased) and Michael. She was employed by and retired from the Dade County Public Schools for over thirty years and moved with her husband to Jacksonville, Florida until her passing. She was an active member of Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. She was well known as an artist who enjoyed painting and interior design and was a social butterfly who not only enjoyed hosting holidays, but was an excellent cook, kept an organized lifestyle, enjoyed traveling, and socializing with friends at the senior center.
She was preceded in death by Thomas and Larrene Davis, her father and mother.
She leaves to cherish her memory: James Walter Roberts, Sr. (husband), Thomas Davis, Sr. (son) and Nochelle (daughter-in-law), James Bostic, father of Tammica Bostic (daughter), Melanie Bostic (daughter), and Angela Bostic (daughter), Elisa Roberts (daughter-deceased), Senior Chief Michael Roberts, Sr. (son), Samaria Washington, Nathaniel Bryant, Jr. (grandson), Tatyana Bryant (granddaughter), Chrishalia Butler (granddaughter), Keithshon Thomas (grandson), Keith Thomas, Jr. (grandson), Keithron Thomas (grandson), Keithshelle Thomas (granddaughter), Isabella Powers (great granddaughter), Rhenaya Powers (great granddaughter), Keaundre Roberts, Sr. (grandson), Tiani Roberts (granddaughter), Michael Roberts, Jr. (grandson), Nacaira Davis (granddaughter), Thomas Davis, Jr. (grandson), Keaundre Roberts, Jr. (great grandson), Jasmine
Scott (granddaughter), Taylor Thompkins (granddaughter), Tiana Thompkins (granddaughter), Jaden Thompkins (grandson), Walter Thompkins (grandson), Bonnie Warren-Geddis (exceptional friend and cousin), Robin Collings (special friend), Janice Hamilton (special friend), and a host of other relatives and friends.
