Hazel June (Selby) Linne, 102 1/2, of Troy Grove, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024 at Harvester Place, Burr Ridge.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Mendota with Rev. Elise Rothfusz, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Troy Grove Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mueller Funeral Home, Peru.

Mrs. Linne was born on June 16, 1922 in Wenona to Amos and Emma (Haszler) Selby. She graduated from Tonica High School. She married Herbert R. Linne Jr. on December 24, 1946 in St. John's Lutheran Church, Peru. He passed away on February 24, 1996. Mrs. Linne was a beautician, interior designer, real estate agent, and a housewife.

Mrs. Linne was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Mendota, the Business and Professional Women's Club in LaSalle, Deer Park Country Club, and the Waltham Curling Club. She enjoyed playing Bridge, golfing, traveling, gardening, curling, and volunteering at the Mendota Youth Center.

Survivors include her daughter, Wendy (Steve) Kelley of Willowbrook and a sister, Barb (Dale) Clark of Marian.

She was preceded in death by her her husband; her parents; her brother, Lyston Selby; and her sister, Corinne Carlson.
