Patricia "Pat" Ann Stafford Obituary

Patricia "Pat" (Hornback) Stafford was born August 1, 1938 in Sweetwater, TX the daughter of Elbern Oren and Fannie Louise (Jackson) Roberts. She passed form this life on Friday December 13, 2024 at her home. She was 86 years of age.


At a young age her family moved to Coolidge, AZ where she grew up. She was married to Clinton Hornback on May 15, 1954 and the couple returned to the Gore, OK area where they made their home. He preceded her in death in 1993. She had worked as a nurse’s aide at the Vian Nursing Home. Following a car accident that left her son Gary a paraplegic, she spent the rest of his life as his main caregiver.


Surviving are her children, Teresa Daniels and husband Emmett, Stanley Hornback and wife Jennie and Wayne Hornback; one sister Mary and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Clinton, her parents, one son Gary Hornback and several brothers and sisters.


Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Thursday December 19, 2024 at the Agent Millsap Event Center in Gore. Interment will follow at White Cemetery under the care and direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.
