He was born in Brooklyn on September 1, 1929, to the late Angelo and Paulina Adragna. Joseph served honorably in the US Marine Corps from June 1947 to June 1950. After his military service and marriage to Frances Cecala, Joseph moved upstate.

Joseph was employed by Lehigh Cement, Atlantic Cement, Blue Circle/LaFarge from which he retired after 45 years.

He is a much-loved father to Joseph Adragna (Carolyn) of Cherry Hill, NJ and Denice Adragna of Coxsackie, NJ; grandfather to Jay Adragna of Cherry Hill, NJ. Joseph is also survived by his wife of 27 years, Nancy, a sister-in-law Mella Adragna of Venice, FL, nephew James Adragna and his family; uncle to many nieces and nephews and extended family.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife in 1990, two sisters Vita “Tina” and Ann Rose Adragna, a brother James Adragna and niece Natalie Adragna Dufresne.

His family extends much gratitude to staff at Greene Meadows and Community Hospice for their kind care and concern.
