Gladys Marie Banks Obituary
Gladys Marie Banks, 88, beloved widow of Howard Banks, passed away peacefully at her home in Winchester, Kentucky, on Friday, December 13, 2024. Born on April 14, 1936, in Hamilton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Waviellee Burgess Welch. A devoted homemaker, Gladys dedicated her life to caring for her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Ramsey and Susan Winburn; five grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Gladys is also survived by her sister, Nancy Stidham, and several extended family members.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Phyllip Banks.
A celebration of Gladys’s life will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Scobee Funeral Home.
