It is with heavy hearts that we announce Rod passed away peacefully in his home on December 13, 2024 at the age of 78.
Rod is lovingly remembered by his wife Diane; daughter Cheri (Dean); grandchildren Meghan (Logan)and Travis (Karly).
He was born in Veteran, Alberta on April 20, 1946. Rod had unwavering love for his family and numerous friends.
His favorite places and endless memories were at Lac Sante, AB and Yuma, AZ. He devoted his working life to his career in management at Sears and his retired life to volunteering for the Lions Clubs in Regina and Fort Saskatchewan. As a lifelong sports fan he followed closely the Edmonton Oilers, the Elks, and provided his family friends with a dearly missed play-by-play update for every game! Rod made an ever lasting impact on many in his community.
Forever in our hearts and always on our minds.
In honoring Rod’s wishes there will be no funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made
