Frances Giamello, formerly known as Frances Todisco, passed away suddenly on December 13, 2024, at the age of 84. Born in Atlas, Pennsylvania, she was a long-time resident of the Bella Vista section of South Philadelphia. Frances was the loving wife of the late Peter Giamello.
She is survived by her devoted cousins, nieces, and numerous friends from her cherished community at St. Mary Magdalen de Pazzi Church. Frances was an active member of the Leisure Timers and Sons of Italy Chapter 2787, where she formed lasting bonds with those around her.
Having retired a few years ago from Verizon as an information operator, Frances left a lasting impact on those she worked with. Her kind and caring nature will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday from 9-10 AM at St. Mary Magdalen de Pazzi Church, located at 714 Montrose St. The Funeral Mass will commence at 10 AM, followed by the interment at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.
Frances Giamello's warmth, generosity, and presence will be deeply missed by her loved ones and the community she touched. May she rest in peace.
