A Life Remembered

SENSUI WANG, 汪森燧, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. He was 78 years old.

Born on Dec. 21, 1945 in Shanghai, China, to late Mingbin Wang 汪命斌. Sensui attended Tongji Preparatory 同济预科, Fudan University 复旦大学, Chinese Academia of Science 中科院, then worked as faculty at Shanghai Second Medical University 上海第二医学院.

In pursuit of further education and research freedom, Sensui came to United States, where he attended Rutgers University for his doctoral degree, before settling down in Piscataway 39 years ago.

After obtaining his Ph.D degree, Sensui worked at various environmental companies, with his last position at U.S. Food and Drug Administration as a Senior Scientist where he worked for 10 years prior to retirement in 2011.

He had a passion for knowledge and enjoyed spending his time researching and exploring new ideas. Sensui loved to read. He spent most of spare time visiting libraries, researching online, and sharing his thoughts with others. Sensui's dedication to learning enriched the lives of those around him, and leaves behind a legacy of curiosity and a passion for knowledge.

Sensui was predeceased by his first wife, Xuelan Ji, and is survived by his second wife, Yaofang Xu, his children, Ryan Wang and Ronnie Wang, and his grandchildren, Ethan, Madison, Liv, Thomas and Zoe.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, December 19, 2024, from 3:30 to 6:00 pm, at The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. Cremation will be private. For directions, please see “Events” listed below.
