Mitchell Barr Weber, 68, of Harbor Springs, MI passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024, at home. He was born on March 20,1956 in Kalamazoo, MI to Catherine Adele Phelps Weber and Daniel Barr Weber.

Mitch graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in 1974 and earned a B.S. in Applied Science & Technology with a specialization in Electronics Engineering Technology at Thomas Edison State College in 1995. On June 17, 1978, he married the former Donna DiLuzio in Woodbine, NJ, and together they raised two children. They moved to Harbor Springs, MI in 1998 where he worked for Control Engineering as a Quality Assurance Manager.

Mitch was known for his curious and intelligent mind, his kind and compassionate heart, and his passion for sharing stories and learning new things. He was actively involved in disc golf, snowmobiling, and Blissfest Music Organization. He served in the US Coast Guard from 1976 until 1980.

Mitchell is survived by his wife Donna Marie Weber, his children Allison Marie Weber and Mitchell Louis Weber (Hillary), his grandchildren Sloane Florence Weber and Reese David Weber, and his brother Matthew Alan Weber and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A visitation will be held at Stone Funeral Home in Petoskey, MI on December 22, 2024, at 10:00am, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am. A luncheon will be held at City Park Grill after the service.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Mitch’s memory are asked to make a donation to Paul MacBeth Foundation or BlissFest Music Organization.
