Cleta's legacy is carried on by her devoted husband, Tommy White of Andrews, TX, and her loving daughter, Kami Cottrell, and son-in-law, Jeff, of Midland, TX. She was the cherished matriarch of a family that includes her adored grandchildren—Kailey, Alyssa, Jesika, Hunter, River, Kanyon, McKinzie, Riley, Presley, and Dallas—and great-grandchildren, Payton and Austin, who will forever treasure the memories of summers spent swimming and the warmth of her affection.

Her nieces, Beth Paehl and husband Brandon of Midland, TX, Brooke Clark of Midland, TX, Kandi Golf of Andrews, TX., Rhonda Evans of Birmingham, AL., Emanda Moore of Rhome, TX., Sarah Johnson of Southmayd, TX., Cynthia Benton of Southmayd, TX., and Amelia Benton of Kempner, TX.; nephews, Wayne Woodall and wife Jennifer of Odessa, TX, Nathan Martin and wife Emily of Lubbock, TX, Ronnie Drake of Fairfield, TX., Joey Golf of Odessa, TX., and Zachery Getman of Wichita Falls, TX., and numerous other extended family that will hold dear the times of laughter and love shared with Aunt Cleta.
Cleta's journey through life was marked by her academic achievement, having earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a testament to her insightful nature and understanding heart. Her intelligence and wisdom were matched by her passion for life's simple pleasures.
Christmas was Cleta's favorite time of the year, not just for its festive spirit, but for the joy of her annual shopping tradition with her sisters that spanned the entire Black Friday weekend. Cleta's love for shopping was paralleled only by her love for her family, a love that was tangible in the beautiful collection of jewelry she created over the years.
Cleta's family knew her as an exceptional cook, with her macaroni and cheese becoming a legendary dish at family gatherings. Her culinary skills were just one of the many ways she expressed her love and care for her family.
Known for her humor and sweetness, Cleta was also a woman of strength and spirit. Her family lovingly remembers that while she was selfless and caring, it was widely known that one should never cross MeMe. Cleta carried herself with a sense of elegance and style, always ensuring she looked fabulous before stepping out, a testament to her dignity and grace.
Cleta was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Jave Van Dill and Alma Dill; her son, Koby White; grandsons, Kaelob Cottrell and Beckham Ray; and nephew, Franklin Benton. Their reunion is a comforting thought to those Cleta leaves behind, as they envision her embraced by loved ones in a place of peace and joy.
