Richard L. Brady Obituary

Richard L. Brady, 92, of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday December 13, 2024.  He was born in Burlington, North Carolina on July 24, 1932.  Mr. Brady was a veteran and served in the US Coast Guard from 1949-1953.  He had resided in North Ridgeville for the past 12 and a half years, and previously resided on the west side of Cleveland for many years.  He was employed as a Forman at Hayes Aluminum in Garfield Heights for many years and retired from Larmco Windows in Cleveland as a machine operator in 1999.  He enjoyed woodworking, fishing with his great grandson, and going for car rides.  He was a wonderful family man and he will be greatly missed.  Richard L. Brady is survived by: his daughter, Darlene Avancini (Jeff) of Thurmond, West Virginia; two sons, Dennis Brady (the Late Karen) of Wakeman and Robert L. Brady (Kathleen) of Columbia, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Tanya Sebek (Joseph), Robert Brady (Cora), Christina Coffey (Roy), Bobbie Jo Russell (Brett), and Donyille, Donny, and Dwayne (Sarah) Tumolo; many great grandchildren; and his sister, Dorothy “Dot” Spivey of Williamsburg, Virginia.  He was preceded in death by: his beloved wife, Betty J. Brady (nee Serenda); his parents, Lester C. and Pearl L. (nee Turner) Brady; and his brother, L. C. Brady.  The family will receive friends on Friday December 20, 2024 from 5 to 8pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville.  The Funeral Service will be Saturday December 21, 2024 at 10am at the funeral home with Pastor David Swartz officiating.  The burial will be at West Park Cemetery in Cleveland.
