Anthony Slavinski, 75, of Larksville, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024 in the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Kingston, he was the son of the late Anthony J. and Helen Nita Slavinski and was a graduate of St Hedwigs Grade School and Central Catholic High School, Kingston.  Anthony furthered his education, graduating from Kings College and Penn State University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer Science; Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology and Masters Degree in Botany.  He was employed as the Health Inspector for the Department of Health in Maryland and lived in Maryland for 42 years, prior to returning home to Larksville. He was a chemist, a member of Mensa Society and was an avid reader.

Left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Theresa Ivan and her husband John, Agnes Slavinski; brother, Francis Slavinski and nephew John Michael Ivan.

Anthony's wishes were to have no public funeral.

Private family services were held from the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson St. Larksville with interment in St. Hedwig's Cemetery, Larksville.
