With profound respect and admiration, we honor the life of Willodean Tinsley, aged 87, of Symsonia, Kentucky, whose steadfast grace and kind spirit etched an indelible mark on this world. She was born on Friday, September 3, 1937, in Boaz, Kentucky, to Alton and Halene Knight. Willodean grew to embody the virtues of commitment and service throughout her remarkable journey.

Dedicated to her community, Willodean served the Graves County Board of Education as a secretary for Symsonia Schools, a role she held with distinction for 31 years. Through her work, she helped shape the lives of countless students and educators with her unwavering support and genuine care.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Willodean was an integral part of the Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church. There, she found joy in fellowship, strengthening her faith and providing support to her church family.

Willodean's kind-hearted essence and her legacy of love will continue to inspire all who knew her. Her departure from this earth on Friday, December 13, 2024, is a poignant reminder of the preciousness of integrity and the impact one life can have. Willodean Tinsley will be profoundly missed, yet her light will persist in the hearts of many.

Mrs. Tinsley is survived by her son, Bob Wagner of Symsonia; and her granddaughter, Cheyenne Santos (Storm) of Murray, Kentucky.

Mrs. Tinsley was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, John E. Tinsley; her parents, Alton Knight and Halene Campbell Knight.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Bob Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at the funeral home.
