Mr. Edward Lee Evans went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Duke Raleigh Hospital in Raleigh, NC. He was born to the late Lewis Evans and Florida Burton-Evans in
Durham, NC. Edward attended the public school system in Durham County. He was employed by the Industries of the Blind in Greensboro, NC, and IFB Solutions in Winston-Salem, NC, until
his Retirement. He later moved to Knightdale, NC.

Edward loved the Lord, gospel singing, and had no problem leading a song or talking about the Lord's goodness.

Edward leaves to cherish precious memories: Carolyn Faulcon (Clarence) of Durham, NC, Edward Evans Jr (Laura) of Vass, NC, Sidney Evans (Vanessa) of Creedmoor, NC, Rachael Evans of Atlanta, GA, Ramona (Renee’) Wall of Greensboro, NC, Adriena (Michelle) Moore of Knightdale, NC, Anthony Evans (Natasha) of Waterbury, CT, and Ira (Denard) Evans of Raleigh, NC. He also leaves precious memories a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, one aunt Juanita Morgan of Baltimore, MD, and a host of cousins. Edward also leaves to cherish precious memories a host of other nieces’ and nephews’ relatives and friends.
