Patricia I. Diedrick, age 81, of Little Chute, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully surrounded by her loving family on December 13, 2024. She was born on May 22, 1943, daughter of the late Eugene “Shorty” and Bernice (Kappell) Peeters. She married Jerome Diedrick on May 25, 1963, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church.

Pat’s family was the largest part of her life, being very proud of each of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Time spent with them at the family cottage, on Christmas or vacations, was her favorite. For years she has looked forward to every Tuesday morning with her group of friends for coffee. Pat loved flowers and attending to her gardens. She has given countless hours of her time to her volunteer work, through St. Johns funeral lunches, food pantry and cleaning the church. Pat never wanted anyone to fuss over her, she was too busy caring deeply for her loved ones and making sure they were taken care of.

Pat is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Jerome Diedrick; children: Doug (Karen) Diedrick, Karen (Jon) Hahnemann and Eric (Kelly) Diedrick; grandchildren: Meg (Andrew Hoskins) Diedrick, Klair (Troy) Hietpas, Nathan Diedrick, Adam (Amanda) Rooyakkers, Alicia (Nick) Wolfert, Mason (fiance, Madison Plate) Diedrick and Cecelia Diedrick; great-grandchildren: Reed, Oliver, Bekkum and Olivia; siblings: Mary Elrick, Chuck (Kim) Peeters, Joe (Barb) Peeters and Amy (Jeff) McLaughlin; in-laws: Kitty Peeters, Sr. Marian Diedrick, Rose Ebben, Imelda (Marv) Hietpas, Rita (Jerry) Hietpas and Bob (Judy) Diedrick; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Peeters; sister, Lisa Peeters; father and mother-in-law, Steve and Clara Diedrick; brothers and sisters-in-law: Bob Elrick, Margaret (Larry) Artz, John Ebben and Eleanor (Joe) Uitenbroek.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 20, 2024, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 411 Vandenbroek Street, Little Chute, with Fr. Ron Belitz officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pat’s name to the Spierings Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
