Leonard Koudijs Obituary

KOUDIJS, Leonard Hendrikus of Port Colborne, Ontario passed away peacefully at his home in Port Colborne on December 13th, 2024. at the age of 66 years. Len is survived by his sons Braden and Jordan (Melissa) and grandson Liam of Port Colborne. He is also survived by his sister Mary Jane (Donald) Scott and brother Richard (Dawn) Koudijs and their families. Len is predeceased by his parents, Tony and Joan Koudijs.

Len began his life with his parents and siblings on a hobby farm in Gasline-Port Colborne. Exposure to numerous farm-related mechanics plus a natural aptitude for fixing things garnered him awards in Industrial Arts from early school years. This led him to pursue education in Hydraulics and Pneumatics at Conestoga College in Guelph. Len was employed by Basic Hydraulics now Bosch-Rexroth of Welland, where he continued his entire adult career. Len was known to be careful, conscientious and utterly reliable servicing projects across Ontario as well as Ireland, Atlantic Canada and Quebec.

Len was a member at Maranatha Reformed Church and later actively involved with Central United Church, particularly managing the sound system for services and concerts.

We extend our gratitude to the support of those who share with us in Len’s sudden passing.
