Seneca- Susan Marie Sharp (Foster) was born December 11, 1962 and entered the presence of Jesus on December 13, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

The space here would be woefully inadequate to detail the life of service Susan led. Having served on countless committees and boards both as a volunteer and in profession, her life was dedicated to making sure every person felt seen and cared for. Most recently she served as Executive Director of the Clemson Community Foundation and as Vice President of Philanthropy for Simpson Senior Living in Pennsylvania. Both endeavors representing perfectly Susan’s deep desire for people of all ages and all walks of life to be afforded the same opportunities and level of care she knew they deserved. She was also a member of Lifepoint Church.

She loved being a wife and mother, but in recent years loved her title of “Mimi” most of all. She loved spending time on the lake, watching sports with her family, and hosting people in her home.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, David Sharp of Seneca, her three daughters, Lainey Timmermon (Ryan), Sophia Pokrzywa (Kevin), and Caroline Sharp, her brother, Andrew Foster (Michelle), her three granddaughters, Emery, Charlotte and Olive Timmermon, and her father Donald Foster. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws who she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her mother, Jean Ann Foster.

Services will take place in both South Carolina and Indiana. Services in South Carolina will take place at LifePoint Church, 1926 Blue Ridge Blvd., Seneca, SC on Thursday, December 19th at 2 p.m. Details are to come regarding the service in Indiana.
