Theodore “Teddy” Roberts, passed away peacefully at home on the morning of

December 13th surrounded by his loving family. He was 84 years old. Teddy was

born on August 24, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York and was raised and lived in

Yonkers, New York most of his life until a few years ago, when they moved to

Yorktown Heights.

He will be remembered for being a loving and generous father, son, older brother,

and as well by his beloved nieces and nephews, cousins and friends he regarded

so dearly. Teddy grew up close to much of his extended family and spending time

with them was his greatest joy.

Teddy graduated from Saunders High School, Yonkers, NY and earned a bachelor’s

degree in engineering from City College of New York. Teddy worked for Xerox for

33 years before his retirement in 2006 and had a talent for fixing just about

anything mechanical.

Teddy will forever be remembered for his sense of humor, kindness, generous

soul and strong work ethic Please keep Teddy in your thoughts and smile when

you think of him. He embraced both challenges and triumphs with dignity and

grace. Teddy is predeceased by his parents Elda and Edwin and younger brother

Bruce Roberts.

Teddy will be greatly missed and is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Patricia.

She was the light of his life and their love for each other was something many

people could only wish for. Teddy was blessed with two daughters: Lisa Renda

(Italo) and Janet Stiller (Douglas) and his three adoring grandchildren: Lauren,

Rachel (Sameer) and Nicholas. He is also lovingly remembered by his brother

James Roberts. 

May he rest in peace, and may his memory be a source of solace and inspiration

for all who knew him. Our hearts are with him as he finds eternal rest, and we

hold his cherished memory close. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you
