Edith Estelene Dennison, age 80, of Elk Knob Road, Pennington Gap passed away Friday, December 13, 2024 at her residence.

A native of Lee County, she was born March 20, 1944, a daughter of the late Rosa Sexton. She was a homemaker and had worked for many years at the Patio Drive-In and was of the Baptist faith. She was proceeded in death also by her Husband, Wilbur Joe Dennison and a sister, Bonita Peters.

She is survived by her son: Gary Wayne Dennison of the home, 2 daughters, Melissa Kegley and husband Sam of Dryden, and Beverly Bolen and husband Paul of Stickleyville.

A brother Cleveland Sexton and wife Sue of Big Stone Gap, 4 granddaughters: Marie Doss, Jessica Moore and husband Aaron, Candace Carnes and husband Josh and Payton Kegley. Several Great-grandchildren along with a host of cousins, nieces and nephews and other family members also survive.

The funeral for Estelene will be Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 2PM in the chapel of the Pennington Gap Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Davis, Jr officiating. Burial will follow in the Millers Chapel Cemetery in Jonesville. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Tuesday preceding the funeral from 12 noon until 2PM at the funeral home.
