Egidio Carli, a beloved longtime resident of West Harrison, NY, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2024, at the age of 99. He was born on September 4, 1925, in West Harrison, NY, to the late Augusta and Mario Carli.
Egidio proudly served in the United States Army from 1943 to 1946.
On February 4, 1951, he married his cherished wife, Gloria, in Valhalla, NY.
Egidio was the proud owner of Carli Construction Company, Inc. in White Plains for over 30 years, retiring in 1985. He was a dedicated member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). A passionate gardener, avid traveler, and food enthusiast. Egidio’s greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends. He was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need, embodying a spirit of generosity and kindness.
He is survived by his children, Raymond (Judy) Carli of Glen Rock, NJ, and Donald Carli of New York, NY. He is also survived by his grandson, Richard (Rachel) Carli, and their daughter, Raya Carli, of New York, NY. Richard was truly the apple of his eye.
