Marjorie M. Hults

PORT ALLEGANY- Marjorie M. Hults, 93, formely of Skinner Creek Rd., passed away Friday (Dec. 13, 2024) in Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport.

     Born December 18, 1930, in Port Allegany, she was a daughter of Harry L. and Marie Hopkins Brundage. On Oct. 4, 1952, in Port Allegany, she married Robert H. Hults, who died Oct. 11, 1998. They were married 46 years.

    Marjorie was a lifetime resident of the area and a graduate of Port Allegany High School, class of 1949.

    She was employed with Bell Telephone Co., Sylvania Co., formerly of Emporium, and most recently worked in the Port Allegany School, in the high school cafeteria before her retirement.

    She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Port Allegany, and member of the former Star Hose Auxiliary.

     Surviving are two daughters, Sandra A. (Ted) Kaziska and Pamela J. Hults both of Port Allegany; two grandchildren: Brandi ( Colyn) Burr and Jacob Kaziska both of Port Allegany; a great granddaughter, Mira Kaziska of Port Allegany; and several nieces and nephews.

      She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, a brother, Larry Brundage, and two sisters, Jacqueline L. Light and Anita L. Corwin.

      At Marjorie’s request there will be no funeral service.  A private graveside service will be held in the Grimes Cemetery, Port Allegany, with Rev. James Cannistraci, officiating.

     Memorials can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

      Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
